This group show grew out of a random collage project that happened during the annual Falls Creek Artist Camp.

On the way up in 2013, artist DH Thomas stopped at the aptly named ‘Breathe–Easy’ op shop in the main street of Myrtleford, now sadly demised.

Serendipitously he found the book ‘Planets Suns and Galaxies’ (50c), a black and white space book printed in the 70’s, with richly dense blacks and lots of detail.

Back at Icicles Lodge he cut the book up and made collages. Then Cameron Robbins, John Nixon and the other artists had a crack too, until the book collapsed, and John Nixon got another on e-bay, and after that we drifted into other space material….and continued over the next 2 years.
